Monica Hanrahan Freitag, Esq.

Founding Partner

Summary
Monica grew up in Syracuse, New York. As an undergraduate Monica attended LeMoyne College where she received her degree in Business Administration in 1999. She earned her law degree at the University of Dayton School of Law in 2002 where she was a member of the Law Review and graduated with honors.


Monica has spent her entire legal career as a domestic relations trial attorney. Her first years of practice were at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, and she has spent the better part of the past decade in private practice. Monica is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Family Law Section and is the co-chair of the Women in the Profession Committee of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the State Bar of Georgia. She is also a frequent organizer of Continuing Learning opportunities for lawyers.


After 9 years of practice, Monica opened Hanrahan Freitag Family Law in 2011 in order to build a practice focused on helping families and individuals focus on the next phase with their family.​
